rejoice!

In Philippians 4:4 the Apostle Paul proclaims: “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice”. This seems easy but at times it is hard to do. Why? Because sometimes you just don’t feel like it. When things are not going your way, or you have come up against an unforeseen challenge or maybe someone has gotten underneath your skin- the last thing you feel like doing is to rejoice. However, may I suggest to you that through even the smallest expression of praise you will begin to at least feel a bit better. Try it. God promises to inhabit the praises of those who praise Him. In other words, one act of praise will trigger the release of God’s presence. He will come into your environment when you praise Him. What’s more, when you begin to rejoice it drives away the devil and his forces because they can’t stay in the same presence as God for long. Praise drives evil forces nuts…They can’t hang around. Make the effort to rejoice, especially in the hard times because God is in control. He sees and He will see you through. As you rejoice, joy builds up on the inside of you and coverts into strength. You shall overcome and have the victory because God always comes on the scene. With Him you can never lose. Rejoice!
